Guidance regarding special breastfeeding care. Breastfeeding of babies with cleft lips is possible as long as the mother receives proper guidance. In some cases, a special bottle may be required;

Guidance regarding hygiene care. Special care should be taken when brushing the teeth of cleft lip babies and it is expected that this guidance will be given by the doctor or other healthcare professional;

Babies born with cleft lips usually need the help of a speech therapist so that they can develop speech correctly.
