Hematuria – What it is, Causes, Symptoms and Treatments that we must know. In addition, hematuria is a condition that has blood in the urine that can be macroscopic or microscopic.
In men over 50, hematuria is a sign of serious injury. Hematuria types are not linked to the type of injury that causes it, and the same disease can cause either type.
The presence of red urine does not always translate to the presence of blood. Some foods may lead to red placement, such as beets , drugs, for example rifampicin and some other chemicals and substances.
Causes of Hematuria:
The hematuria may be caused by a urinary tract infection (usually in the bladder, but which may also involve the kidneys). The Hematuria is often present in the signal colic kidney.
Trauma to the back (which damages the kidneys) or to the lower abdomen (which damages the bladder) can also cause blood to appear in the urine, known as hematuria .
The presence of blood in the urine may also be caused by a tumor in the bladder or elsewhere in the urinary tract.
The hematuria rarely causes symptoms. One exception is when the bladder has so much blood that clots form, and the flow of urine is blocked. This can cause pain at the obstruction site in the lower part of the pelvis.
The hematuria is treated with antibiotics. The specialist will test your urine after treating it with antibiotics to make sure your infection has been cleared.
Your doctor’s goal is to find the cause of the blood in your urine. If no serious condition is causing hematuria , no treatment is required.
