Sometimes chest pain can be so intense that in many cases patients confuse it with angina. Gastric juice can rise to the throat and cause a sour and bitter taste in the mouth. Other symptoms include difficulty breathing and bouts of nocturnal asthma and cough.

Heartburn Treatments:

Treatment for this condition is very effective, usually including medications. However, it is critical that some lifestyle changes be made, as follows:

Chew food well ,

Do not overeat,

Do not drink too much fluid to prevent stomach distension ,

Avoid greasy diets,

Avoid bedtime after lunch,

Do not drink alcohol before bed,

Do not smoke,

Avoid foods that cause heartburn ,

Do not spend long periods fasting,

Do not exercise after the meal,

Avoid coffee, black tea and mate tea after the meal,

Bet on chamomile tea or green tea after meal if necessary,

Caring for overweight or obesity .
