Delicious banana chip recipes to try

You will see that there are more fit and slightly more caloric recipes, since there are fried options and in the end they receive a delicious layer of sugar. Choose your favorites and try it in your kitchen.

1. Fried and sugary

To start, a more caloric version, fried and with a layer of brown sugar with a little salt at the end.


Fried oil: what is necessary;

Bananas: 5 units;

Brown sugar: 2 tablespoons;

Salt: ½ tablespoon;

Butter: 1 tablespoon.

Preparation Mode:

  1. Start cutting the bananas into thin slices. Then let them stand for half an hour to dry.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan or fryer and add the butter.
  3. Place the banana slices and fry until golden brown.
  4. Once golden brown, drain and pass them through salt and sugar. Your chips will be ready to savor them!

2. Roasted and salted

It is not because the banana is a sweet fruit that the chip version also has to be sweet. It looks great with pepper and salt.


Bananas: 2 units;

Salt and black pepper: to taste;

Coconut oil:  spread.

Preparation Mode:

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices.
  2. Grease a pan with coconut oil. Put each slice of banana from side to side without touching each other.
  3. Brush with coconut oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. With the oven already heated to 180º, put the tray and leave it for 20 minutes. When they are golden and crispy, you can serve the banana chips.

3. Sweets fit

The sweet version can be fit using the same type of sugar as the previous version, but with special flavors.


Bananas: 3 units;

Brown sugar: ½ teaspoon;

Orange juice: 1 tablespoon;

Ghee butter: 3 tablespoons;

Cinnamon powder: ½ teaspoon of tea.

Preparation Mode:

  1. Turn on the oven and let it warm to a very low temperature.
  2. Cut the bananas into thin slices, put butter in a pan and place the bananas. Above, dip the slices with the orange juice.
  3. Bake for 1 hour. When the bananas are crispy, remove them from the oven, wait for them to cool and then pass them through the sugar with the cinnamon.

4. Salted in the microwave

You don’t even have to use the oven if you don’t want to because you can make these banana chips using the microwave. This time, the spice is salty, again.


Bananas: 4 units;

Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon of tea;

Salt: ½ teaspoon of tea;

Olive oil: 2 tablespoons.

Preparation Mode:

  1. Grab the whole bananas, keeping the peel closed, and place them in a pan covered with water. When it boils, wait 10 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  2. When they are cold, peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices. Season with olive oil, turmeric and salt.
  3. Put each slice on a very shallow dish, side by side, and microwave for 8 minutes at high power. Pause every 2 minutes to turn the bananas. When time permits, remove from the microwave and let cool so that they are crispy and serve.

5. Roasted bananas with paprika and lemon

The spices in this recipe are also for the most enthusiastic palates and lovers of sweet and sour flavors.


Bananas: 3 units;

Salt: ½ teaspoon of tea;

Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon of tea;

Spicy paprika: ½ teaspoon of tea.

Preparation Mode:

  1. Turn on the oven below 100ºC. Place baking paper on a baking sheet.
  2. Cut the bananas into thin slices and distribute them on the tray without touching each other. Squeeze the lemon juice at the time and pour a little on each banana slice.
  3. Bake for 1 hour, keeping the temperature low so that the bananas dehydrate and become crispy.
  4. Then, remove from oven, season and taste.
